Leider waren wir nur auf der Durchreise und nur eine Nacht da. Wir hatten einen super Empfang, die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles detailliert erklärt und uns persönlich zu unserem Platz gebracht. Wir hatten einen tollen ruhigen Stellplatz mit eigenem Bad. Alles sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das nächste Mal werden wir länger bleiben um alle Angebote auch nutzen zu können!

The door to the individual sanitation didn’t lock and as a lone female traveller it worried me. I pointed it out several times There was racial tension sparked by football. The behaviour of grown men was appalling Sadly I witnessed domestic abuse on a neighbouring pitch Feels like the site is trying to fill every minute with entertainments and forgetting the benefits of quiet camping The dog field was useful but too small

The site felt like a theme park rather than camping. It’s a shame as I love the other Castel site at Le Man
Ms. Rostill, You stayed on a pitch with a private sanitary unit that locks with a key from the outside and a latch from the inside. Evidently, you missed the latch, and we found no record of any inquiry from you regarding this in our logbook. I find it very surprising that you witnessed inappropriate or improper behavior without reporting it to us. In a family-oriented campsite like ours, we expect a certain sense of community. As for the dog park, this is the first time anyone has told us it is too small! However, it seems to me that the four walking trails available across the property’s 200 hectares offer a significant alternative. It is true that we offer a vast array of activities and entertainment, even in the low season, but these are all organized well away from the accommodation areas, and a 10:30 PM curfew is strictly enforced. I therefore take your description of the site as a "theme park" as a compliment—thank you! In conclusion, we too are very disappointed by your review, but we cannot expect to please everyone. The staff are always pleasant and helpful no matter what their role is. The site is well maintained and the toilets/showers are always spotless.

The chalet was clean and ready to move straight into.

We liked everything; the lovely friendly welcome, the cheerful and extremely helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are superb and everything kept scrupulously clean. It’s in beautiful surroundings and all the places of interest are within easy reach.

For two oldies it was fabulous to have bathroom facilities on the pitch and an extra bonus to have a little kitchen, particularly having a fridge during the heatwave!
We think a small shelf above the basin in the shower room would be extremely useful for toothbrushes etc.

Our 3rd time here - just love it. The facilities are great, the walks, the yoga etc. The staff are very friendly and always says hello, they’re very helpful and attentive and nothing is too much trouble to accommodate your stay. Love that is still a family run site.
More shade/brollys round the pool and at the bar near the reception.

La Garengeoire is all too rare in today's world. It is run with genuine care and attention to detail, maintains its standards whilst looking to the future. Every member of the team seem to hold the same values. Although two years have passed since my last stay, and despite a dramatic change to my own situation, it was reassuring for me to rediscover the place we both had loved so much. Thank you.
Spacious and comfortable. Great plot. Felt very fortunate to be in a mobile home down that end of the site.
Due to the heat, air-con would have been very welcome.

Our first family holiday to France & we had the best time at La Garangeoire! Able to get into our accommodation early after a long journey was great, the cabin was lovely & clean & in a great spot! Loved the lagoon & the pool! Our little boy had the time of his life, felt safe to let him roam around & play! The restaurant and take away were great & had plenty of options! The site itself is beautiful, so well looked after & so pretty! We’ll definitely be back!
Only one & it’s our fault for not checking but an oven would have been great in our accommodation but wasn’t an issue

Many good things don’t change but there are always little improvements at the site
Coffee in the small bar is not the best. More shade /fixed parasols around the lagoon. Choice of food in main restaurant was restricted during our stay, especially if you do not like goats cheese. That’s why we didn’t go to the restaurant. It’s is a shame that the small bar closes now at 19.30

We love the restfulness found within the camp yet you are still able to be as active as you want on site or in the general area. Great improvement to the showers - absolutely fantastic.

This site is fantastic. We have been coming here for many years, initially as a small family and now as a couple. It has remained as one of our favourite sites in France and offers everything you need for a great holiday. It still offers the tennis and the boules area and the pool is fantastic. The staff are excellent and really look after you. The shop is perfectly stocked with just the right amount of goods available. All in all an almost perfect place.
Unfortunately, the takeaway facility is lacking. We ordered several items during our stay, including a croque monsieur which was unfortunately inedible, cold, soggy and falling apart. I was stunned to find out that as a takeaway you had to order some items 24 hours in advance! The menu for the restaurant should reflect what is actually being served, we booked a table looking forward to the moules only to be told they are not in season, not a major issue, I know but it need not have happened.
The pitches are fantastic, well maintained, spacious and we have already booked for next year!

Lovely campsite set in woods with beautiful flowers all around. The swimming pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Lovely to swim in and very clean.
The sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable to lie on.

Staff very nice & welcoming, every where was super clean, beautiful surroundings, lots to do if you want but also quiet walks or sit at the lake to relax, loved the plants & flowers, the swimming pool was great and we had good food in the restaurant. Talked to quite a few people who come back year after year so it shows that it is a great place to stay. I will recommend it to my friends
