Castel Camping La Garangeoire

Leider waren wir nur auf der Durchreise und nur eine Nacht da. Wir hatten einen super Empfang, die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles detailliert erklärt und uns persönlich zu unserem Platz gebracht. Wir hatten einen tollen ruhigen Stellplatz mit eigenem Bad. Alles sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das nächste Mal werden wir länger bleiben um alle Angebote auch nutzen zu können!

Lage des Platzes in mitten eines Waldes, Ruhe und Sauberkeit, nettes hilfreiches Personal, Hundefreundlich Umgebung, mit eBike oder WoMo zu erkunden

Der camping ist sehr schön angelegt und sauber, mit vielen Bäumen

Die Infos auf dem Camping waren leider nicht in deutsch angeschrieben. Es hatte auf dem Camping sehr viele englisch sprechende Gäste., das hat uns ein bisschen gestört.

Der Platz verfügt über eine schöne Poolanlage.

Ein faktisches Redeverbot nach 22:00 Uhr ist im Urlaub nicht zumutbar, wird von der unfreundlich Nachtwache jedoch angemahnt. Der Weg zum Waschhaus ist nicht beleuchtet. Gleiches gilt für die Spülküche. Hier mussten wir eine Taschenlampe zum Spülen (20:30 Abends) mitnehmen. Sauberkeit im Waschhaus wird 5 Sternen nicht gerecht. Irhendjemands Kaugummi im Urinal verblieb die letzten 5 Tage unverändert. Waschhäuser schlecht belüftet. Das Castell ist großräumig für Camper abgesperrt, andere Plätze der Kette ermöglichen das mit viel Charm. WIr haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt.

As soon as we drive up the drive way towards the house on the first day of our holiday we feel at home.

Larger umbrellas outside reception and the little bar to give more shade. We love having coffee in the morning and a drink here in the evening.

The best welcoming team each year. The most relaxing site. An outstanding restaurant. Why go anywhere else!

We have been visiting this site for over 20years and now our grown up children Brian their children. There is always a warm welcome from the staff, site is immaculately clean and there is everything you could need on site

Can’t think of any negatives apart from maybe more umbrellas at the pool

Our favourite campsite in France. We have visited 8 times already and booked again for 2026 We love the space, the vast walks. They way the mobiles aren’t crammed together. Love the rustic, easy going charm. Love the staff, seeing a lot of the same people year after year. Love the way the rules are enforced (re speed & noise) which makes a more relaxed experience.

A more varied menu in the restaurant. We love eating there but feel the menu is very limited so we tend to go to the restaurant in St Julien more often as they have an amazing menu. It can be crushing when I speak my (admittedly rusty) French to staff at the bar and they keep responding in English. I spent a year in France 27 years ago. I was completely fluent, which is gone now but I really love being able to practice for 3 weeks a year. It’s never an issue at reception, shop, small bar or restaurant just the pool/beer garden bar. Not a big deal but a small thing that would improve a stay

LOVELY AND CLEEN ,VERY NICE STAFF ,FOOD VERY GOOD

VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT OUR PITCH,WE PAID FOR A LARGE PITCH WITH TOILET AND SHOWER ,THE SHOWER WAS VERY SMALL AND FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE. THE PITCH WAS VERY POOR WHEN THE RAIN CAME AND WOULD NOT DRAIN THE WATER AWAY.I DID ASK FOR SOMETHING TO BE DONE BUT PUTTING SAWDUST DOWN WAS USELESS WE SPENT NEARLY THREE WEEKS IN A VERY MUDDY PITCH ,AND HAD T PACK EVERYTHING AWAY COVERS IN MUD

Huge pitches in a lovely green, leafy setting. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. Clara in particular was great when we had a slight problem with our electric hook up. The facilities were exceptional, all showers, etc spotlessly clean and the swimming pool area was superb. The lake and lagoon areas were very peaceful and beautifully maintained.

Les infrastructures proposés! Une air de jeux incroyable pour les enfants, plusieurs piscines adaptées pour tous le monde, et surtout le lagon! Le centre équestre situé à proximité!

We enjoyed a lovely two weeks at Garangeoire this summer. The weather was a little unpredictable but there was plenty to do on site. So lovely that aside from a security deposit, the pedalos and canoes are totally free. The mini golf you can play as often as you like, again free. The restaurant is well worth a visit too. The staff on site can't do enough to help.

We were camping around the field which was a beautiful spot. Just one suggestion for improvement would be to please add a hand soap dispenser outside the 3 ladies toilets. There is a sink and soap in the men's toilet but only an outdoor tap close to the ladies'.

we loved this campsite. we came for 2 weeks, with 5 other families and we had such a great time. we always got sunbeds round the pool, and the lagoon was really nice. the restaurant was really nice food, and the takeaway also had great service. all staff were very friendly and spoke brilliant english. The kids loved the park, horseriding, and we felt safe letting them o to play. The site was also kept quiet after 10:30pm

when we initially booked it, we were under the impression that most of the activities would be free, like the kids football club, but they weren't that expensive. My main complaint was the pool sunbeds were so uncomfortable. so much, that I found it better to lay on the artificial grass.
