+gemütlicher, kleiner Campingplatz gut ausgestattet +Neues Mobilehome mit einfacher Ausstattung +neue Sanitäranlagen +Restaurant am Pool +kurze Autoentfernung zu den Normandie-Stränden und -Museen
-Platz ist etwas abgelegen, Auto nötig zum einkaufen -Badehosen Regelung bei den Männern, es werden nur "Speedos" erlaubt also Badeslips oder Bedpanties (alles was länger ist als Boxerunterhosen wird moniert und man darf nicht ins Wasser) -pedantische Endkontrolle trotzt bezahlte Endreinigung, das gespülte Geschirr wird einzeln kontrolliert und einzelne Teller mit Wasserflecken muss man dann erneut spülen und "richtig" abrocknen

Sonnendach für die Veranda, da der vorhandene Sonnenschirm nicht ausreichend ist Schrank / Reduit für die Mülleimer

However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding some of your comments: All the information you mention — including the pool rules, the cleaning conditions, and the equipment of your mobile home — were clearly communicated in advance. These details are available on our website, were included in the newsletter sent 7 days before your arrival, and were also reminded during check-in. So, none of these aspects should have come as a surprise. Regarding the swimming pool: As indicated in our materials, only tight-fitting swimwear (e.g., briefs or swim trunks) is allowed for hygiene reasons — this is a standard rule in many French pools. Despite this information, you attempted to enter the pool wearing swim shorts, which is not permitted. This is why access was refused, which likely explains your lower rating for the swimming area. Concerning the cleaning service: The end-of-stay cleaning package does not include dishwashing or trash removal — this is clearly stated upon arrival. Dishes must be cleaned, dried properly, and put away, and bins must be emptied before departure. These are basic requirements that help us maintain high hygiene standards for all guests. About the uncovered terrace: The mobile home you selected does not have a covered terrace, as mentioned in the description. For more comfort, we had a 3-bedroom cottage with a covered terrace and dishwasher available at the same time of your stay. Die Flexibilität der Camping Betreiber. Die Anlage war sauber. Die Parzellen grosszügig angelegt. In der Nacht die automatische Beleuchtung (Bewegungsmelder) war sehr gut. Keine Hunde! Die frühe Saisoneröffnung!!!

Immer wieder eine Reise wert. Liebevoller Platz. Preis Leistung gerechtfertigt. Kommen immer wieder und wenn es nur für ein paar Tage ist. Liegt zentral und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Normandie!

Ein sehr schöner Platz, gut gepflegt, alles sehr sauber und ordentlich nettes Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Der Pool war wohl Temperiert.
Ein kleiner Minuspunkt. Es gab keine Grauwasserentsorgung für Wohnmobile. Chemie Toilette konnte entsorgt werden.
Wasser und Strom waren gut zugänglich am Platz

We had the most wonderful week at Le Picard. It is a beautifully maintained and immaculately clean campsite. It has brilliant facilities and is well located for doing all the Normandy sights. We will definitely be back. Laurent and Delphine were so friendly and helpful and made the stay a great one. Would highly recommend this site to anyone travelling to or through Normandy, especially if you are after some peace and quiet after a day out seeing the sights or just a few days relaxation. 10/10!
Sink in washroom could do with a plug but such a minor issue - can bring my own!

We had actually already thought about this idea, but from experience we are not always sure that removable plugs would stay in place throughout the whole season and unfortunately they often tend to disappear. Quiet, well appointed site with good washroom facilities plant of hot water, ointment site cafe and shop selling some items. The site is well located for travelling to the Normandy sites especially if you have an interest in the D Day landings. We also travelled to Monet Gardens at Givenchy and although it is a full day trip easily accomplished.
The pitch was all we needed for our c'van and awning - an additional parking space is proved adjacent to the site (45). no problems with either water supply or electricity which is supplied by a standard socket

Fijne camping, mooi en schoon sanitair, ruime plekken.
Het zijn geen comfort plekken zoals wij gewend zijn maar water is erg dicht bij de staanplaats.

We would just like to clarify that only 3 of our pitches have the water point located about 10 meters away. All our other comfort pitches have a direct water connection on the pitch itself. As you had specifically requested a quiet pitch away from the sanitary facilities, we chose to give you one of our calmest and most appreciated spots, with a lovely open view over the fields, as we felt it perfectly matched your request. Of course, if you had preferred a pitch with the water point directly on the pitch, you could simply have asked us during your stay. Mooie camping, erg vriendelijke beheerders. Prima plekken voor onze caravan, goede ondergrond verharde wegen. Heerlijke grasveld en mooi groen. Schone toiletten en douches.

Het verblijf is prima bevallen. We zijn uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen en je plek laten ze je zien. Je krijgt uitgebreid informatie over wat er in de omgeving te doen. Je kunt gelijk je brood voor de volgende ochtend bestellen. Het sanitair is keurig schoon en de douches heerlijk warm.
Prima plek, ruim zat en auto op de plaats.
