Sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, schöner großer Pool, ausgezeichnetes frisches Essen im Restaurant, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliche Besitzer, wir waren nur auf der Durchreise für 2 Nächte dort und wären gerne länger geblieben, kommen gerne wieder!
Großzügiger, schattiger Stellplatz für ein 7 m Wohnmobil (sonnige und halb sonnige Stellplätze waren auch verfügbar)

Das (ursprünglich britische) Betreiber-Paar ist so herzlich und engagiert, dass dieser gute Eindruck direkt im Kopf bleibt.
Der Stellplatz war sehr groß und lag im Halbschatten - also ideal.
Der Sanitärbereich sollte mal saniert werden. Das war der einzige Campingplatz auf dem wir die Duschen nicht nutzen wollten...
Thank you very much for taking the time to review the campsite. And we are delighted that in general you found the site to your liking. Although I am quite upset about the comment on the shower facilities, yes the building is old - we do not hide this fact in the pictures on our website (although the disabled facilities are much newer). However we are scrupulous about cleanliness & hot water, we also provide soap & toilet paper. We were not made aware of any problems in this regard. The taps, shower heads and hoses are all new. I am sorry that you had a bad impression.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Sue empfangen und konnten uns unkompliziert einen Stellplatz aussuchen. Die Plätze sind relativ eben auf Rasenflächen. Es gibt einen unbeheizten, schön gelegenen Pool. Minuspunkte sind die in die Jahre gekommenen Sanitäranlagen, die allerdings sauber waren. Es wird WLAN zur Verfügung gestellt, welches aber sehr langsam ist. Für die Durchreise war der Platz für uns ok.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our campsite. Thank you for your positive comments regarding the welcome, the pitch, the swimming pool, and the sites cleanliness. We are bewildered by the scores given which do not match your comments, you liked the pitch but only awarded 5 out of 10, you mentioned that everything was clean but only awarded 6 out of 10. Certain aspects of our toilet block are old, but perfectly functioning, the fittings- taps & shower heads are new and completely clean of any limescale. The toilets are specially chosen to have a rounded comfortable seat, our reduced mobility washroom was added in recent years. Certain parts of the block may not be esthetically pleasing, orange would not be my choice of colour! But we choose to invest in the sustainability of the campsite above the simple colour of the toilet block panels. In recent years we have been installing photovoltaic panels to help with our electricity usage, and the investment this winter is for a solar heated hot water system. Which we think is a more important. Our Wifi is free & works fine for emails and checking the weather etc. but our only connection option is by satellite, we are fighting to be connected by fibre but a kilometer of forest lies in its path. We read and take all reviews seriously, so I will be updating our website with more photographs of the toilet block, so that future campers can judge for themselves and not be put off from visiting by your comments. We welcome many guests who find us as a convenient stop over on route north & south, we also have guests who love the campsite & region who enjoy longer stays. We look forward to giving you a friendly welcome again in the future.

We used this site for a two night stop over while travelling in our campervan from the Mediterranean coast to the west coast. The site owners are friendly and welcoming, and the site is well tended. It is situated in beautiful countryside and there are local hiking and cycling guides available in reception. A highlight is an inexpensive four course meal of home cooked food which is available in the evening and can be eaten on the patio with a view over the lake. This needs to be booked and is excellent value.
The shower block is tired but functional.
Our pitch was spacious and would have been more than adequate even for a larger caravan.

Un camping au cœur de la nature. Nous avons passé un séjour top, les propriétaires sont charmants et prêts à se plier en 4. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer.
Les emplacements sont ombragés et le chant du ruisseau qui longe tout le camping berce les nuits des campeurs. Les sanitaires sont bien placés, pratiques et très propres. (Est-ce également le ruisseau qui garde les nuits fraiches ? Je ne sais pas mais je le pense fortement)

Lovely, friendly, small site. Sue and George were great hosts. Restaurant and food was great, sat at the side of the lake. Pitch size was large, not on top of each other, sunny and shady pitches available too

We weren’t meant to be coming here but booked last minute. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sue who is English so bonus as our French is poor. Large pitches you can choose from, amazing pool, clean bathrooms, great food and a chilled vibe. Top service too.

Lovely large pitches with loads of shade if wanted. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay great. Good food at a reasonable price. Been here twice now, will definitely be back.
It would be nice if they had the facility to empty motorhome grey water. See

With regard to your comment about the motorhome grey water emptying point, there are unfortunately technical reasons why we do not have a motorhome service station, however there is a traditional emptying point by the toilet block, but this does require our campers to use a barrel or bucket to collect the grey water before emptying. We endevour to be as transparent as possible, so we do highlight the lack of a service station on our web site.
